Mission Kids
Mission Kids at Stonebridge United Methodist Church is ready for mission workers! Mission Kids focuses on providing opportunities for children to participate in mission projects that benefit the community. In Ephesians 2:10, the Bible tells us that God planned that we should spend our lives helping others. The goal of Mission Kids is to help young children recognize the importance of service.
Once a month, kids fellowship during a pizza lunch. After that, they will work together to complete a service project that benefits an organization right here in McKinney. Optional field trips will be coordinated so that families can go directly into the community to serve.
The program is open to kindergarten through 5th graders. Parents are welcome to either drop off their children to participate in the program, or stay to volunteer! Younger children may accompany volunteer parents at the meetings.
