HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED?

We hope you will find a small group where you can connect with others and grow in your faith. If you can’t attend a group every week, don’t let that deter you from joining one! Be present as you are able.

E-mail the contact person if you’d like to participate or for more information.

Lent Studies

Join Pastor John for a Lent video study based on the book "Why Easter Matters" by Andy Stanley.

  • Why do we often find ourselves resisting the very God that we say we trust? Andy Stanley explores the lives of some individuals in first-century Israel who struggled in the same way and reveals how the story of Easter became real to them when they found themselves caught up in the events of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.

  • Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

  • If you would like to participate, contact Pastor John (john@mysumc.org).

Join Pastor Jana for a Lent study based on the book “The Final Days” by Matt Rawle.

  • Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John…four New Testament Gospels each offering a different lens through which we understand Jesus’ last week in Jerusalem.

  • Different stories with different perspectives…but the same Resurrection hope. Come discover how Jesus is calling us to be prepared for the new life he brings.

  • Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm – March 12, March 26, April 2, April 9

  • If you would like to participate, contact Pastor Jana (jana@mysumc.org).
