Welcome to Spark Kids Children's Ministry!
“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden.” -Matthew 5:14
At Spark Kids, we are on a mission to ignite the light of Christ in every child we encounter. We pray that through this ministry, Our Spark Kids will be glowing beacons of His love and grace everywhere they go.
Children’s Ministry Program
Spark Kids Church beginning September 8
Sundays at both 9:45 and 11 a.m. in the Upper Alley
Parents may check their children in up to 10 minutes before each service.
This new kids church format lasts the entire worship hour and allows the kids time necessary for their very own worship in the Upper Alley, Bible lessons, and fun memorable activities.
The curriculum is formatted similar to vacation Bible school; with a focus on scripture learning but also fun activities like Bible buddies and games. We expect this long-term curriculum plan will provide our kids with the Biblical foundation they need to continue growing in their faith.
Children's Praise Team for ages 1st-5th grades
The Children’s Praise team leads kids church at both hours on Sunday mornings and in adult church a few times a year, as well as a musical in the spring.
For more information, please contact Tracy Lastrapes.
Spark Kids in Christ/Mission Kids coming October 6th -
Fun, fellowship, children’s mission work, etc. meeting on Sunday evenings
How can I get involved?
As we continue to roll out the various advancements in Children's Ministry, there will be many opportunities for our church family to be involved! Currently, our immediate needs are:
Prayers! Please keep this project and all of those involved in your daily prayers.
Amazon Wish List: We are so excited to be dedicating three new classrooms upstairs for Children's Ministry! These rooms are being refreshed and need to be outfitted for the kids! Please consider helping purchase items from our wish list. Here is our Amazon Wish List.
Financial Donations: We have been blessed by some very generous donations that have helped us get this far! In order to complete the improvements upstairs, we do still need further funding. All donations, regardless of size, help keep Children's Ministry budget money going straight into programming and are greatly appreciated!
VOLUNTEERS: Beginning September 8th, we will be splitting into 2-3 classrooms each Sunday! This means that we will need 1-2 adults at each service to step up and help teach these precious kiddos! Our new curriculum is very well laid out and is open and go, meaning there is no prep needed from volunteers! If you would like to discuss volunteering, please reach out to Molly Gardner.
