Project A.R.K. (Advancing Resilient Khmer)
Stonebridge UMC has entered into a three-year commitment, along with a half dozen other United Methodist churches, to support Project A.R.K. (Advancing Resilient Khmer) and Patrick Booth, Co-Director of Project A.R.K., in Cambodia.
Project A.R.K.’s mission is to tackle poverty as a culprit of human trafficking by equipping and restoring livelihood and dignity through the construction trade while introducing quality, affordable family homes into the Cambodian real-estate market.
Project A.R.K. provides transitional housing, life skills education, and cooperative employment opportunities to survivors of human trafficking.
Patrick Booth has committed to living in and leading the project in Cambodia, a country in Southeast Asia, through at last spring of 2023.
Patrick has been active with previous Stonebridge UMC Serving Trips to Juarez with Proyecto Abrigo and to Central America with Living Water International.

You can best support Project A.R.K. and Patrick’s work on this project with your prayers and financial gifts. (Our church’s annual commitment is $2500.)
