A word from our Pastor
Friends in Christ,
Our stewardship theme this year is Unstoppable: I’m ALL IN! Our goal is to fill every service position in our church as we move forward in ministry. Stonebridge UMC is asking everyone to consider what God is calling you to do in ministry for Christ.
In Matthew 9:53, Jesus’ ministry is described in this way, Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing every disease and every sickness. Jesus was calling his disciples to ministry and modeling the ministry he expected. Three words describe Jesus’ ministry – To Teach, To Preach and To Heal.
In the same way, our ministries at Stonebridge UMC should reflect the call of Christ. What follows is a brief description of every service opportunity of our church. We are asking everyone to choose a place to serve.
Each area has a staff contact. In addition to the staff contact, we are partnering laity for every ministry area.
Please fill out the service commitment sheet or download a paper copy to print and fill out. We are making Stonebridge UNSTOPPABLE for Christ and His Church.
Pastor John Allen
