A Christmas Blessing

Greetings in the Name of Jesus,

Merry Christmas. This is the day we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is God’s greatest gift for all people in every circumstance.

From Luke 2:10-14...

…the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for see, I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.  This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped in bands of cloth and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest heaven,

and on earth peace among those whom he favors!”

Amy and I want to wish a special Christmas blessing for you and your families this day…

"Loving Father, help us remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds and worship of the wise men. Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings and teach us to be merry with clear hearts. May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children, and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus' sake. Amen." (by Robert Louis Stevenson)

Be blessed and well this Christmas. See you this afternoon and tonight at our Christmas Eve services at 3:00, 5:00, and 7:00 pm.

It is a great privilege to be your pastor. Thank you for the honor.
